The trades of Chattanooga are one of the most important parts of any project.  Most of the actual work is done by them.  You may call them tradesmen, or subcontractors, or craftsmen.  Either way, they are experts in their fields.  A good craftsman can make the project shine, and make the job a lot more tolerable.  If you think contractors are hard to choose, well, good trades are even harder.

You’ll find roofers, painters, tile setters, hardwood floor finishers, those who can de-fog your windows, jack up your foundation, landscape your yard, install grab bars and accessibility products, install plumbing, electric, gutters, heating and air, and build your own custom brick BBQ pit or lay a foundation.

It took me years to find the best ones in this area.  Remember that you don’t have the time or money to try out trades.  You usually stick with whoever you choose, for better or worse.  So choose wisely.

A good tradesman is not only good at what he or she does, but he or she must communicate well, be easy to get hold of, be reliable, stand behind his or her work, and have the social skills to get along with you and your family.  All this, and be a skilled craftsman.  This is why they are few and far between.
